This innovation first began with our drive to “create a way for all to receive treatment at affordable prices.”

We succeeded in developing artificial skin using tried and tested xeno-biomaterials through a series of trials and errors to discover biomaterials that are anatomically, structurally, and physiologically similar to human skin. This was an unprecedented achievement both in Korea and abroad.

Through the artificial skin research process, we were deeply distressed by cases of patients suffering from xerosis while the skin graft recipient site healed. We were driven to explore “ways to transfer the moisturizing function, which is critically needed by these patients, onto a skincare mask in the form of patch.”
We pushed the boundaries even further.
One More Time
Around this time, the owner of Derm·all Matrix experienced the tragic incident of his daughter suffering from burns and began to search for ways to mitigate the aftereffects of burns. Powered by advice and suggestions from people suffering from atopic dermatitis and other types of skin trouble, Derm·all Matrix created Facial Dermal-Care Mask that is safe and easy-to-use.

We initially aimed to create opportunities for all to receive treatment. We now focus on helping everyone benefit from our technology based on medical bioengineering and enjoy an improved quality of life.
